OSTY MEDITECH was founded to bring about change and innovation to the medical industry

WHAT IS PELVIC PLASTY?

Pelvic Plasty is a form of augmentation to the Pelvic region using the techniques of orthopedic surgery.
The word derives from “Plasty” which relates to plastic surgery.

Unlike breast augmentation which has been in existence for years, there is currently no surgical procedure for changing the body contour in the female pelvic and hip region. However, that is about to change! Pelvic Plasty provides an ideal, safe, and reversible way to achieve the body you’ve always wanted. By using a minimally invasive plate augmentation technique, which reduces soft tissue injury and scars, a small titanium plate can be inserted on the crest of the pelvic bone with an incision size less than 2cm size. When placed in the hands of master implant surgeon, Dr. Yougun Won, this simple device will change your linear appearance to “curvy” and give you a body you can feel good about.

OSTY MEDITECH’S UNIQUE APPROACH TO PELVIC PLASTY

line

Existing Techniques

Silicon implant on the thigh & Liposuction

Previous augmentation on the thigh soft tissue would make waist lower which lead leg look shorter, especially when wearing a jean.

Lack of firm fixation can cause stress failure from belts, pants, weight, etc….

Liposuction only removes fat from the waist, which never can change the pelvic bone figure Malpositioning can lead to assymetry

Our Technique

Widening of pelvic width provides higher waist, which leads to make leg look longer, leading to more aesthetic outcomes.

No harmful structures around the implant

Firm Fixation- no need to worry about displacement or deformity and high resistance to stress from belt or pants during

ambulation Easily Removable- No effect on reproductive organs

Make a Small incision (Less than 3cm) on the Posteior Superior Iliac Spine

Surgical image 2

Through the incision insert the implant from posterior iliac spine which could hide a incision scar to anterolateral iliac crest .

Make a small incision for the 3.5mm cancellous screw fixation.

WHO ARE THE IDEAL CANDIDATES FOR PELVIC PLASTY SURGERY?

  • Male to Female transgender patients are excellent candidates to correct a naturally male form and produce more curvature in the lateral portion of the hip/thigh region.
  • Any women who frequently lack fullness in the hips and do not have the sufficient fat to perform a fat grafting procedure. Usually, Asian women have relatively small pelvic bone and this would be a good candidative.
  • A congenital anatomic deformity, or acquired deformities due to trauma, disease or after surgical procedures.
  • Although a depression over the greater trochanter is natural, many females wish to accentuate this region and fill out the area to give them a more prominent curvature and benefit from the use of a hip implant.
  • Buttocks augmentation patients may be interested in combining this with hip augmentation.
  • Whoever is not satisfied with body figure curvature (Who has Waist to Hip ration greater than 0.6~0.7)
  • Our implant would be good adjuvant option to Buttocks augmentation; which only brings sagittal expansion. With pelvic plasty coronal expansion could also be achieved.
